We are CSC Generation. We acquire and transform retailers into high performing, digital first consumer-centric businesses. As of May 2023, we have nine brands that are part of the CSC family. We expect to keep growing and adding more companies to our portfolio.

We acquire and transform retailers. Those retailers often have a strong brand recognition and customer following but have run into financial difficulties. Our mission is to transform them into high performing, digital first, consumer centric businesses.

We stand out from the rest of the retail industry with our strong marketing intelligence, supply chain and distribution channels, outstanding customer support and experience in brick-and-mortar stores, online and catalog sales.

How we began

Our founder and CEO, Justin Yoshimura, has an amazing career story.

After being told that nobody would ever hire him, Justin dropped out of high school to start his first company, which was acquired after generating $10 million in revenue just three years later!

Prior to founding CSC in 2017, Justin worked at 500friends, Merkle and Wunderkind where he saw 5 to 10% of its customers file for bankruptcy every year due to bad management, culture, tech, lack of scale and Amazon. In that, he saw the unsexy opportunity to create an operating platform (tech, people, process, and scale) that would save these companies.

Justin believes the key to CSC’s success are its people, culture, and drive for innovation.
