CHICAGO — March 14, 2023 — CSC Generation, the buyer of overlooked store and catalogue-based retailers that transforms them into high performance digital-first brands, announces the hiring of Garrett ‘Gary’ Pak as President of Digital Operations, Gideon Rosenbaum as Senior Vice President, Mina Mineva as Senior Corporate Counsel, and Stephanie Cohen as Corporate Legal Counsel.

After nearly 12 years driving product technology and digital marketing, Pak takes the reins to lead CSC’s engineering, product, call center, and digital marketing teams. With more than a decade of leadership at Centerfield Corporation, WebYES! and startups in Los Angeles and Chicago, Pak brings a deep understanding of scaling startups for growth.

Gideon Rosenbaum joins CSC from B. Riley Securities in New York where he was Director in the Corporate Restructuring and Special Situations investment banking practice. Prior to B.Riley, he was an advisory senior associate (distressed consulting) for Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Gideon has extensive experience in recapitalization negotiations, distressed M&A, financial restructuring, capital raising, and turnaround business plan development.

He will be assisting and leading the sourcing effort for new acquisitions and capital structure solutions for CSC portfolio companies.

“I love making deals,” Rosenbaum said. “I like saving companies and brands by helping everyone involved come to terms that they can live with.”

Mina Mineva spent nearly six years as corporate counsel at Groupon and Levy before coming to CSC, where she focuses on commercial contracts and corporate legal support for several of the company’s brands. She also spent more than four years at Axia Law Firm, where her primary focus was on transactional matters in the hospitality and venture capital space.

Stephanie Cohen focuses on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance for CSC. She was a restructuring attorney at Kirkland & Ellis where she helped businesses navigate through the Chapter 11 process.

“I fundamentally believe of our mission of finding a way to resurrect brands that need help,” Cohen said. “I like being on the upswing of the process. We see value here. We believe we can turn it around and bring something special here.”

The addition of Pak, Rosenbaum, Mineva and Cohen to CSC’s diverse group of successful leadership builds on the company’s 2022 expansion that included a growing team and the acquisitions of multiple e-commerce retailers and wholesellers.
